Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paints
Posted on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 at 2:54 pmSomehow, I buy this beautiful set of watercolor from my friend that buy directly from Japan. Gansai is Japanese for paint (s) or color pigment and Tambi means aesthetic. Maybe this is the Kuretake trademark.
Just understand the words ‘Made in Japan’
When I open the cover, suddenly, all this 36 colors haunted me…
Result;
Title : The Foggy Road
Love the opaque and vibrant characteristic that the colors offer, the texture very smooth, they are like between watercolors and gouache, make them perform for detailing, seem suitable with my style.
Your work ”foggy road” is the best painting with kuretake I’ve seen till now. It seems that it’s not easy to work with these watercolors.
Thanks, there are several painting I used kuretake for example Hibernation, Take Over and School of Mechatronic Engineering, UniMAP
